NCTE in the News: Camp Out

One of the things we are very proud of this year is that we were able to work with the Triangle Foundation to support Camping.Out. Camping.Out is a summer camp opportunity for LGBT youth from across the country to be held this August in Michigan. Other national supporters include the Task Force, PFLAG and the National Youth Advocacy Coalition (NYAC).

For too long, trans and other LGBT youth have been excluded or felt unsafe at summer camp, so for the kids who participated in the first Camping.Out last summer, this was life changing. We applaud Triangle for there great work on Camping.Out.
