As the Development Manager, Daniel is primarily responsible for organizing NCTE’s fundraising events and managing individual donor relations. He has previously worked with several national and local nonprofits including most recently working at ACLU Nationwide with their highest level donors and managing events for NYC Pride.
A California native, Daniel got his start in the LGBT movement during the battle surrounding Proposition 8 and held his first job in the nonprofit sector managing the Orange County field office for his home state’s largest LGBT advocacy organization, Equality California. He has also served on the board of directors as the board chair for several LGBT nonprofits.
Daniel holds a dual B.A. in Psychology and Criminology from the University of California, Irvine and an M.P.A. in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy from New York University.
