Gabi Bautista (they/them)

Communications Associate

Gabi is a queer and genderfluid Filipinx serving as a Communications Associate. They have offered their skills in digital media to various nonprofits, grassroots projects, and community organizers working towards racial justice and queer liberation. Born and raised in the South, Gabi was activated as a teen to become involved with efforts advocating for much-needed change in their local city and beyond. They have interned with their local LGTBQ youth center, JASMYN, Equality FL, and Girls Inc. of Jacksonville. Most recently, they did online media management for the restorative justice collective, Amplify RJ, in addition to serving Fearless Femme 100 as a Communications Coordinator. 

Gabi graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications from the University of North Florida. They also studied Cinematic Arts at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, cultivating talent in scriptwriting, producing, directing, and video editing.

Dedicated to mutual aid and community care efforts, Gabi is active in advocating for police accountability, reproductive rights, and access to essential resources for the most marginalized in their community. They believe that we all have something to offer in the movement for justice and equity.
