Justice Department Seeks Dismissal of Spurious Challenge to Inclusive Hate Crimes Act

The US Department of Justice this week sought dismissal of a frivolous challenge to the constitutionality of the Matthew Shepard and James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act.

Shame On You, Oklahoma State Senate

The Oklahoma state Senate has taken action yesterday in an attempt to thwart the implementation of the federal hate crimes law passed last year that added sexual orientation and gender identity to federal statutes.
