Olivia Hunt (she/her)
As Senior Policy Counsel, Olivia Hunt works with state and national coalition partners and government officials to craft policies on issues affecting transgender people, such as identity documents.
Prior to working at NCTE, she served as an Equal Justice Works AmeriCorps Legal Fellow at Whitman-Walker Health in Washington, DC, and was in-house counsel to a biotechnology company in Bethesda, Maryland. She has also worked in the fields of international election law and municipal law.
Olivia received her undergraduate degrees in International Relations and Japanese Language and Culture from Michigan State University, and her law degree from the College of William & Mary, where she served as an editor on the Law Review.
