Endorsements

A4TE is proud to endorse candidates who champion trans rights and equality. We invite individuals running for office to apply for our endorsement through our Endorsement Application. Our endorsement process is designed to identify and support candidates who are committed to advancing the rights and visibility of the trans community. By endorsing candidates, we amplify the voices that best represent our communities and ensure that trans rights are front and center in politics.

Our endorsed candidates will receive support in many ways, including one-on-one coaching, contributions, using our name on printed materials, and more.

Political Candidate/Campaign Manager Training

We are proud to be partnering with the Victory Institute to host the nation's first ever training exclusively for trans candidates later this year. This comprehensive training explores a diverse range of tactics and strategies tailored to each candidate's unique needs. Participants will leave the training with an individual, thorough, and actionable campaign plan that emphasizes voter engagement and innovative outreach strategies.

Our candidates and campaign managers will learn:

Diverse campaigning techniques
Effective fundraising program development
In-person canvassing strategies
Digital and traditional media planning
Direct voter engagement tactics
How to survive and win on the campaign trail as an openly trans candidate
How to create a custom campaign plan

Political Candidate One-on-One Coaching Program

Are you thinking about running for office or are you actively running for office now? A4TE is proud to introduce our one-on-one coaching program exclusively for trans candidates. Coaching is done personally by Director of Voting and Elections, Josie Caballero, who has nearly 15 years of national campaign experience.

Our coaching program is tailored to meet you where you are in your electoral journey. You will leave our coaching program with all the critical skills necessary to run a truly impactful campaign.
