RXBAR Releases New Bundle to Support the National Center for Transgender Equality

NCTE and RXBAR announced a collaboration in celebration of Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV), which is being celebrated internationally today!

RXBAR released a limited-edition RXBAR TDOV Bundle, available now at RXBAR.com, featuring popular protein bar flavors that represent the colors of the transgender flag. All of the proceeds will be donated to NCTE to support the organization’s efforts to empower and protect the transgender community.

“RXBAR was founded on the premise that anyone can do anything. When people are empowered to be their authentic selves, great things happen,” said RXBAR President Jim Murray. “We’re honored to support the NCTE and the transgender community at large.”

The RXBAR TDOV Bundle includes: 12 Vanilla Almond bars, 12 Chocolate Raspberry and 12 Chocolate Chip. While all proceeds from sales of the bundle will be given directly to NCTE, RXBAR is committed to donate a maximum of $10,000 that will be used to further support the organization’s mission to advance transgender equality.

“Transgender people face discrimination, harassment and violence, which can result in unemployment, homelessness and negative health outcomes,” said Rodrigo Heng-Lehtinen, deputy executive director for the NCTE. “With the help of RXBAR and their contribution from the TDOV Bundle, the NCTE will advocate for changes in policies in an effort to create a more accepting society and improve overall quality of life.”
