Trans Health Now: Insights from the US Trans Survey
Join Advocates for Trans Equality as we celebrate the release of new data from the 2022 U.S. Trans Survey. The Health and Wellbeing report offers the latest findings about how survey respondents access healthcare, their overall health and wellbeing, and what's changed since the 2015 survey. In a time where trans people's health data is being scrubbed from federal websites and scientific research is under attack, trans-led surveys like the USTS are especially critical to understanding the trans experience.
The U.S. Trans Survey is the largest ever survey of the lives and experiences of transgender people in America. While we're presenting data from 2022, we know a lot has happened in the world of trans healthcare since then. In addition to presenting this research, we'll also talk about the state of trans healthcare today – trans healthcare access generally, current threats to healthcare access, and opportunities to get involved right now.
