<div style="font-size: 13.008px;"><p paraeid="{690edcdf-0ef2-4831-9bed-9bda506f557c}{161}" paraid="738692707"><strong>Under threats of violence, trans people will not be silent. </strong>Earlier this week the incredible advocates at the TransLatin@ Coalition received a bomb threat to their office in Los Angeles. We are angry and heartbroken. This type of threat has happened to us before, and it is terrifying every time. </p></div>

Pledge Now to Take the 2022 U.S. Trans Survey
<p><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">The National Center for Transgender Equality (NCTE) and partners are excited to launch the 2022 U.S. Trans Survey Pledge (USTS) at </span><span style="font-size: 9pt; font-family: "Segoe UI", sans-serif;"><a href="http://ustranssurvey.org/" style="color: rgb(149, 79, 114); text-decoration-line: underline;" target="_blank"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: rgb(5, 99, 193);">ustranssurvey.org</span></a></span><span style="font-size: medium; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">. Through the USTS Pledge, members of the trans community can now sign up to receive information about the survey, learn how to participate and pledge to take the survey when it is released in 2022. </span></p>

Victory! U.S. Supreme Court Rejects North Carolina State Health Plan’s Effort to Shield Itself from Health Care Discrimination Lawsuits
The U.S. Supreme Court denied the North Carolina State Health Plan’s petition asking the Court to review a lower court ruling that the plan, a state entity, could be sued for denying comprehensive gender-affirming health care coverage to transgender state employees or their transgender dependents.
